The training workshops, which were held daily for two weeks, focused on the areas of résumé-writing, preparation for job interviews, and on the differences between class environment and work environment.
Wazeefeh Newspaper, which covered the workshops, noted that “Training in these areas is expected to prepare students to enter the professional work market and prepare senior students for the upcoming Career Day expected to take place on the 15th of April at JUST”.
The workshops were held daily from 9 am to 3 pm at the Students’ Affairs Deanship main meeting room. The Dean of Students’ Affairs at JUST, Dr. Al-Boon, said on a speech after inaugurating the workshops, that these workshops were right on time since they should prepare students for the anticipated Career-Day.

CEO of OneTEAM Consultants, Mr. Mohammed Zawaideh, said that “…these (workshops) are part of our strategic plans and are part of our corporate social responsibility and our role in serving our community and they reflect our pure intentions towards paying back to our societies”. He also added that organizing these voluntary workshops at JUST will be the first of a series of similar workshops planned to be held at other Jordanian universities such as University of Jordan and Yarmouk University.
Mr. Zawaideh also noted that “we are doing this because we believe that the youth are the corner stone of our community and that they play a significant role in the economic growth of Jordan and the Middle East region”.
Dr. Al-Boon, on behalf of JUST, thanked OneTEAM Consultants and Wazeefeh Newspaper for their great effort and support for Jordanian youth that will inevitably help crystallize students’ experience and enable them to enter the job market with confidence. He also noted that this effort from OneTEAM Consultants reflects that companies in Jordan have faith in students graduating from JUST.
